WORKSPACES | PRIVATE CLUB
If you are an established business entrepreneur and would like to benefit from all the infrastructure of an office but in a co-working space, register in one of those private clubs. Some private clubs have waiting lists and only grant subscriptions to industries working in the creative sector. We have identified many more co-working spaces but those are our favorite in terms of interior design.
Camp David was founded with the mission to rethink what a co-working space should be: a mindfully-designed, collaborative environment for creative entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses. As a partner to its members, Camp David provides curated amenities, tailored services, and opportunities to collaborate through workshops focused on professional development. Located in storied Industry City, Founders Erez Shternlicht and Mazdack Rassi crafted the space with the neighborhood’s heritage and ambitious maker community in mind.
Designed by the very talented architecture firm Bluarch, Spring Place is a members-only collaborative workspace and social club where fashion, art, entertainment and design come together to work, host, relax and create. The largest collaborative workspace at Spring Place is filled with custom designed communal tables and vintage furniture. A very inspiring place to work, connect and create.
Designed in house by the amazing team of the Soho House, Ludlow House is a members' club in a former gold leaf factory located on New York's lower east side. The Living Room offers a comfortable space for meeting and working with an all day deli counter. The space also includes a cosy Parlor with a fireplace and several restaurants, Lou's Kitchen & Bar and Duckdup for an all day experience up until late at night.
Designed by the David Rockwell Group, the Neuehouse is a private community of leading entrepreneurs and creative teams. The members are offered experiences, work spaces, personalized services and opportunities that foster new ideas and important associations. Located in New York, Los Angeles and soon London, NeueHouse is a global home for innovators in film, design, fashion, branding, architecture and the arts. Rockwell says that he and principal Greg Keffer designed NeueHouse in a way that “privileges spontaneity and movement.” The idea is to accommodate the various ways that people work today, often with little more equipment than an iPhone.
We Work's mission is pretty simple: to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living. With workspaces at every corner in New York and around the world, We Work is the perfect place for any entrepreneurial mind that wishes to work in a carefully designed space but whose business is not necessarily in the creative industry. Less exclusive than other workspaces but nevertheless a great option for anyone looking for a more flexible and affordable office space.
In New York City alone, there are thousands of beautifully designed restaurants that occupy some of the most valuable addresses anywhere, but they’re closed until 5:00pm or later. Meanwhile, those of us who walk past these spaces everyday need a consistent place to host meetings, and be somewhere peaceful where we can sit down and get online. At Spacious, you can confidently invite others to meet in a well-appointed social space. Stay productive all day where seats are abundant, WiFi is fast and reliable, and delicious coffee and refreshments are included.
